Maria Amalia Pesantes, COHESION Project Coordinator from Peru, participated in the panel “What role for NGOs in Addressing the Needs of Vulnerable Populations”, organized by Geneva University, Geneva University Hospitals, the COHESION Project and Salud Sin Límites Perú. She shared COHESION’s experience working with rural communities in the North of Peru.

This panel was organized by a project on improving HIV and STD care services for indigenous people in the Peruvian Amazon, that emerged as a result of the experience of COHESION Project partners. The project is funded by ESTHER Switzerland, which is supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
